🟫 Position: Café Manager
Location: Chique-o-Latte | Logan Square, Chicago
Salary: $65,000 annually + quarterly performance bonus
Schedule: 5 days/week (one weekend day required), ~55 hours total (45 in-store + 10 flexible)
Overview:
Chique-o-Latte is seeking an experienced, hands-on Café Manager to lead daily operations and
drive team performance. The ideal candidate is a natural leader with strong people management
skills, operational excellence, and a deep commitment to delivering a top-tier guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and supervise café operations, including front- and back-of-house
• Schedule and manage shifts to ensure smooth daily operations
• Oversee HR functions including hiring, onboarding, training, and performance reviews
• Ensure staff are trained, engaged, and motivated to uphold brand standards
• Monitor and manage inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships
• Uphold health, safety, and cleanliness standards
• Collaborate with ownership on strategy, reporting, and goals
• Handle day-to-day problem-solving and customer escalations
Requirements:
• 5+ years of foodservice or hospitality management experience
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to lead by example and foster a team-focused culture
• Tech-savvy and comfortable using POS, inventory, and scheduling systems
• Flexible, reliable, and able to work at least one weekend day regularly
Compensation & Perks:
