Job Description:
Status Hollywood is seeking a highly experienced and driven General Manager to lead our upscale Caribbean-inspired restaurant into its next phase of growth and excellence. This is not just a management role — we’re looking for a true leader with a proven track record of successfully opening restaurants from the ground up and optimizing operations across the board.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee all day-to-day restaurant operations, including front and back of house
• Spearhead the full implementation and integration of Toast POS and MarginEdge systems
• Build and lead a high-performing team that embodies excellence in hospitality
• Drive revenue growth through strategic planning, marketing initiatives, and exceptional guest experiences
• Set and uphold operational standards, staff training, service flow, and brand consistency
• Take full ownership of the restaurant’s performance — financially, operationally, and culturally
• Work closely with ownership to bring the vision of Status Hollywood to life, while contributing your own expertise and creativity
• Manage inventory, cost controls, vendor relationships, and scheduling
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and local licensing regulations
• Cultivate a team-oriented, high-energy environment that reflects our upscale and culturally rich atmosphere
Qualifications:
• Minimum 5+ years of General Manager experience in high-volume, full-service restaurants
• Must have hands-on experience with Toast POS and MarginEdge (non-negotiable)
• Demonstrated success in launching new restaurant concepts or openings
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, mentor, and inspire a team
• Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and financial acumen
• Ability to balance creative vision with operational discipline
• A passion for hospitality, innovation, and elevating the guest experience
