Overview: Mamajuana Cafe Restaurant and Lounge is a vibrant and fast-paced establishment known for its unique ambiance, delicious cuisine, and exceptional service. We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team and lead our operations.
Responsibilities:

Overall Operations Management:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant and lounge.
- Ensure smooth and efficient functioning of all departments, including kitchen, bar, dining areas, and private events.
- Implement and maintain high standards of service, cleanliness, and safety.

Team Leadership and Training:
- Recruit, train, and supervise restaurant staff, including servers, bartenders, hosts, and support staff.
- Foster a positive work environment and provide ongoing coaching and development to enhance team performance.
- Set performance goals, conduct evaluations, and address any issues or concerns promptly.

Customer Experience and Satisfaction:
- Ensure guests receive exceptional service and have a memorable dining experience.
- Monitor customer feedback and reviews, addressing any concerns and implementing improvements as needed.
- Maintain a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for guests and handle any guest inquiries or complaints effectively.

Financial Management:
- Manage budgets, costs, and expenses to optimize profitability while maintaining quality standards.
- Monitor sales trends, analyze financial reports, and implement strategies to drive revenue and reduce costs.
- Oversee inventory management, ordering supplies, and controlling food and beverage costs.

Compliance and Regulations:
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards, as well as licensing and legal requirements.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices, implementing changes as necessary.
- Uphold Mamajuana Cafe's policies and procedures, promoting a culture of integrity and professionalism.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar role in a high-volume restaurant or hospitality setting.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a must.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations with composure.
- Knowledge of restaurant operations, including food and beverage service, inventory management, and customer service.
- Familiarity with industry regulations and standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field is preferred.
