Job Title: Pastry and Pasta Maker

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and creative Pastry and Pasta Maker to join our culinary team. This position is responsible for preparing high quality, artisanal pastries and fresh pasta from scratch, ensuring consistency, flavor, and presentation in line with our brand standards.
Key responsibilities:
Pastry Duties:

Prepare, bake, and decorate a variety of pastries including cakes, tarts, cookies, croissants, and specialty desserts.

Follow established recipes and create new dessert items as needed.

Monitor oven temperatures and baking times
-
Ensure pastries are fresh and presented attractively for service
Pasta Duties:
-
Make fresh pasta dough from scratch using traditional and modern methods
-
Roll, shape, and cute pasta varieties such as ravioli, tagliatelle, gnocchi, fettuccine, and lasagna sheets, ect.

Operate and maintain pasta making equipment and tools.

Ensure all pasta is cooked to perfection and ready for kitchen use
General Duties

Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen

Manage inventory and request supplies when needed

Ensure proper food storage, labeling, and rotation

Work closely with chefs and kitchen staff to coordinate timing and service

Uphold food safety standards and kitchen best practices
Requirements:
-
Proven experience as a Pastry Chef and/or Pasta Maker
-
Knowledge of classic and contemporary baking techniques
-
Ability to work early mornings, weekends and holidays as needed

Strong time management and organizational skills
Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for long periods
-
Lift up to 25-50lbs
-
Work in a fast paced environment and high heat environment
Compensation Details
Compensation: Hourly ($20.00 - $23.00)
