Assistant Server

UNA Hospitality is a new Chicago-based restaurant group with a passion for developing concepts that combine culinary excellence and impeccable service with a sophisticated, high-energy atmosphere to create one-of-a-kind experiences.
We are seeking a friendly and professional Assistant Server to join our team. Our ideal candidate is organized, can communicate efficiently and effectively with a diverse group of guests and teammates. This candidate is energetic, confident, and possesses basic food & beverage knowledge. Must be able to work methodically in fast-paced environments while engaging guests with smart, viable, and timely service. Our goal is to anticipate guests' needs and exceed their expectations.
Assistant Server Responsibilities include:
- Acknowledging guests and anticipating their needs.
- Memorizing our menu, including details and origins of the product.
- Familiarize yourself with all possible allergens in each dish.
- Communicate efficiently and effectively with teammates.
- Communicate efficiently and effectively with guests while presenting food.
- Delivering food in a timely and professional manner.
- Assisting with the tidying of tables, clearing leftovers, and keeping the dining area neat and free of debris.
- Setting tables and arranging the dining area to accommodate daily event needs.
- Performing opening and closing duties in line with company operational procedures.
- Performing related duties as requested by leadership teams.
- Punctuality is a high priority.
Compensation Details
Compensation: Hourly ($12.62) plus tips
