Now Hiring: Experienced Maitre D’ / Lead Host
Location: Rosticceria Evelina – 455 Myrtle Ave, Brooklyn, NY

Rosticceria Evelina, a vibrant and busy Italian restaurant in the heart of Fort Greene, is seeking a polished, experienced, and hospitality-driven Maitre D’ / Lead Host to join our front-of-house team.

What We're Looking For:
We're in search of someone with a strong presence, excellent communication skills, and a natural ability to make guests feel welcome. The ideal candidate is warm, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Prior experience as a Maitre D’, Head Host, or in a similar guest-facing role in a quality-driven restaurant is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage reservations and book large parties via phone and email

• Greet and seat guests with warmth and professionalism

• Liaise with servers to help manage floor flow and guest experience

• Assist front-of-house with taking orders, running drinks, and maintaining a smooth service

• Act as the face of the restaurant during busy services

Requirements:

• Full-time availability, including evenings and weekends

• Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience in a hospitality or fine-casual dining setting

• Proficiency with reservation systems (e.g., Resy, Toast) is a plus

• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
