Obelix Restaurant is searching for a line cook to join our team.
Obélix, located in River North, provides a French bistro experience through the lens of two French-American brothers who grew up in Chicago. Obélix has been named a finalist for Best New Restaurant by the James Beard Foundation. It received top honors upon opening from Chicago Magazine for Best New Restaurant in 2022.
Our menu is rooted in classical french technique, while paying homage to the global flavors that inspire us as a team. The ideal candidate for this role is intrinsically motivated, disciplined, organized, and passionate about hospitality. Experience in a fast paced, medium-high volume restaurant is preferred but a candidate with the right attitude and motivation would be considered.
This job is primarily for a PM dinner service line cook role working full time 4 days on, 3 days off but we could have availability for 5 days on 2 days off working afternoon lunch/brunch hours.

Compensation Details
Compensation: Hourly ($19.00 - $21.00) plus tips
