Maxime’s, the newest private member’s club creation by renowned British entrepreneur Robin Birley—also the visionary behind London's esteemed 5 Hertford Street and Oswald’s—invites exceptional hospitality professionals to become part of our inaugural team.

Opened in March 2025, Maxime’s occupies the historic former Westbury Hotel on Madison Avenue, Upper East Side. This 12,000-square-foot, two-story sanctuary is redefining New York’s private club experience, blending British sophistication with New York vibrancy.

At Maxime’s, we are committed to delivering excellent service and warm, discreet hospitality and we are looking for individuals who exhibit the same passion for what we do!

The Birley Bakery, due to open this summer, will be situated across from Maxime’s. Home to a Bakery and Chocolate shop inspired by classic Parisian Boulangerie-Patisseries, the Birley Bakery will provide specialist breads, viennoiseries and pâtisseries in an interior designed to delight the eye.

  • Breakfast Manager - $75,000 – $80,000/annum
  • Breakfast Supervisor -$30/hour
  • Floor Manager - $80,000/annum
  • Restaurant Manager - $110,000 - $125,000/annum
  • Receptionist - $35/hour
  • Sommelier - $16.50/hour plus tips
  • Beverage Support - $16.50/hour plus tips
  • Barista - $30 - $35/hour
  • Captains - $16.50/hour plus tips
  • Captains Assistant - $16.50/hour plus tips
