Job Details
We are seeking a highly motivated General Manager to join our Chicago team! In this role, you will be overseeing the day-to-day operations of Milk Bar in the Hoxton Hotel, and are responsible for supporting, managing, and developing all bakery team members to exceed business goals.

Your ability to manage both front- and back-of-house operations, while meeting sales goals, managing inventory, and adhering to food safety standards, will be key.

Key Skills and Experience:
     ● Proven leadership experience in a similar hospitality or retail environment.
     ● Strong operational knowledge of food service, including managing schedules, inventory, and product quality.
     ● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with guests, employees, and stakeholders.
     ● Ability to manage a high-volume location while ensuring brand consistency and a commitment to high standards.
     ● Financial literacy, including experience with budgeting, sales forecasting, and P&L management.
     ● Passion for the Milk Bar brand, culture, and mission of spreading joy through desserts and celebration. 

Physical Requirements:
     ● Lift and move up to 10 pounds; frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds; and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds 
     ● Safely and effectively use all necessary tools, equipment, and cleaning chemicals 
     ● Stand and walk for an entire shift, including moving safely through all areas of the restaurant which may include stairs, uneven, and/or slick surfaces 
     ● Ability to bear exposure to hot and cold environments

Compensation Details

Compensation: Salary ($70,000.00 - $75,000.00)
