Job Title: Bookkeeper
Reports to: Controller/Chief Financial Officer
Summary/Objective
The Bookkeeper is responsible for various accounting tasks including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and data entry into the Company’s accounting systems. This individual must possess excellent communication skills and be able to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment. He/she will establish and maintain a positive and professional working relationship with many individuals and will perform well as part of a team.
Essential Functions

1. Processes invoices in a timely manner, including sorting and obtaining appropriate approvals.
2. Performs data entry in Restaurant365 and processes checks for mailing.
3. Book Sales entries daily
4. Prepares and maintains accounts payable records and reports.
5. Manages vendor payments and files.
6. Assisting in maintaining our invoice management system across multiple locations
7. Resolves accounts payable issues among internal departments as well as outside agencies.
8. Verifies accuracy of checks to invoices, corresponding purchase orders and receiving documentation.
9. Responds to vendors regarding payments or invoices.
10. Providing general administrative support as needed.
11. Various other tasks as requested or assigned.
Supervisory Responsibility
This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.
Physical Demands
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally push and/or pull up to 50 pounds. The employee may spend over 4 hours daily standing or walking.
Required Education and Experience
1. High school diploma required; degree in Finance or Accounting preferred.
2. Prior experience using Restaurant365 or other accounting software.
3. Strong communication and analytical skills.
4. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
5. Must be able to work solo or within a team to complete projects.
6. Prior experience in the Hospitality industry a plus.
7. Proficiency in Excel, Word and Outlook.
