Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and polished Maître d' to join our hospitality team. The Maître d' is responsible for overseeing the front-of-house operations, orchestrating guest services, and upholding the highest standards of excellence in hospitality. This role requires impeccable poise, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for creating memorable moments for our guest.
Responsibilities:

Warmly greet and welcome guests upon arrival, ensuring they feel acknowledged and cared for throughout their dining experience. Manage reservations, floor plans, flow of service, and any special requests to optimize the guest experience.

Oversee the flow of the dining room. Address any guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.

Work closely with the FOH and BOH team to ensure seamless communication and coordination between the dining room and kitchen. Monitor and manage the flow of service to maintain an uptempo yet ordered pace for the guest experience.

Uphold the restaurant’s standards of cleanliness, organization, and aesthetics. Ensure that all areas of the dining room are impeccably presented at all times.

Promote the restaurant’s products, including special events, seasonal menus, beverage offerings. Assist in developing strategies to attract guests and maximize retention.

Maintain accurate records of reservations, guest preferences, guests of note, and all special occasions, allergies with our Resy/Opentable systems
Successful Candidates Will Have:

At least 2 years of experience as a Dining Room Manager, Captain, Maitre D' or similar leadership role in a fine dining restaurant.

Extensive, evolved understanding of culinary and dining room terms, best practices, and techniques.

Expansive understanding of beverages including major wine regions and varieties, classic and modern cocktails, and service etiquette.

Familiarity with reservation, inventory, and point-of-sale systems.

Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
