We are seeking a talented server assistant to join our team of seasoned professionals for our flagship restaurant, L'Amico--located within the Hotel Eventi on 6th Avenue and 30th st.
Our wine list has over 750 selections in total, we have a great cocktail program, and a great menu by celebrated chef, Laurent Tourondel. We take pride in delivering an outstanding guest experience.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for offering warm, caring and friendly hospitality and attentive and technically proficient service to all guests. Responsible for being the guests advocate throughout their LTH experience;
- Responsible for communicating openly and thoroughly with Supervisors, and for bringing all guest concerns to Supervisors attention immediately;
- Responsible for clearly communicating schedule requests, for obtaining proper approval for all shift changes, and for being in uniform and ready to work at the scheduled time;
- Obtains assigned service station from Manager/Supervisor at start of work shift;
- Promptly greet guests as they are seated and water to table;
- Ensuring guests always have full water glasses
- Clear tables after guests leave and in between courses.
- Take tableware to dish room and place silverware, dishes, glassware, etc. in appropriate areas;
- Between settings promptly clean table tops, chairs and booths;
- Checks floor and clean as required. Reset and arrange tabletop;
- Able to keep up with flow of service and work quickly and efficiently
- Responds appropriately to guest requests;
- Able to work well under pressure in a high paced environment
- Able to work well with the server and assist them where needed
- Communicates guest requests to server immediately;
- Communicates with server and host(ess) to ensure efficient seating, table utilization and customer service;
- Thanks guests as they are leaving;
- A team player, helps fellow employees when possible;
- Other duties, as assigned.

Who you are:
- You are passionate about the Hospitality industry and thrive in fast-paced environments
- You have 2+ years of experience as a Server Assistant
- You are a team player with clear communication and follow through
- You have attention to detail and initiative to problem solve as needed
- You are able to stand, walk, and be on your feet for extended periods of time
- You are able to communicate in English, through written and verbal communications
- You are able to lift 30+ pounds
- You are available on nights, weekends and holidays, as needed

Compensation Details
Compensation: Hourly ($16.50) plus tips
