We are looking for an efficient, hard working, personable bartender with experience in an upscale craft bar setting. We have an outstanding house cocktail program, a biodynamic, natural wine list, eclectic beer selection and exceptional food. We're looking to add one or two great bartenders to the team who understand both what makes a great cocktail but also how to delivery exceptional service. Anyone can learn a recipe, but can you anticipate the needs of your guests and meet those needs before being asked. Is your default setting, when you overhear a guest saying to their dining partner "I wonder what that grillo tastes like?" to you bring them a taste before they even finish thinking about what they want? "Surprise and delight," all day, everyday.
We've got a small team, so you'll for sure take tables out on the floor, or sometimes or polish glasses, or run food, but a small team thrives when everyone works together.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve cocktails, beer, wine, and other beverages.
- Engage with guests to provide an exceptional dining experience.
- Make shrubs and house sodas in collaboration with rest of the team.
- Collaborate on drink development
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inspection-ready station.
- Restock supplies and monitor inventory levels.
- Assist with tables on the floor.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of craft cocktail bar bartending experience (required).
- Serving experience preferred
- Valid NYC DOH food handlers license required
- Knowledge of classic and modern cocktails.
- Strong communication and multitasking skills.
Details:
- Pay range: $12/hr + tips., PTO and sick hours
- Schedule: Sunday-Thursday full or part time. Possible to pick up occasional Friday/Saturday shifts
