What You’ll Do:

Lead day-to-day operations and ensure smooth, efficient service

Hire, train, and coach a high-performing team

Oversee scheduling, payroll, daily reporting, inventory, and compliance

Monitor service flow, table turns, and guest experience — and step in where needed

Improve front-of-house attentiveness, teamwork, and urgency

Eliminate cash drawer discrepancies and enforce accurate reporting

Work with the bar team to grow beverage sales and professionalism

Manage costs: labor, employee meals, inventory, and waste

Help with POS (Square) upkeep — menu accuracy, pricing, updates

Plan events and promos to drive business and build community

Create a culture of accountability, feedback, and fun
What We’re Looking For:

2–3 years of experience as a General Manager or Assistant GM in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant

Strong leadership and communication skills

Experience with scheduling, payroll, inventory, and POS systems (Square preferred)

Ability to train, motivate, and hold a team accountable

Attention to detail and the ability to stay calm under pressure

NYC Food Protection Certificate (or willingness to obtain)

A genuine love for diners, hospitality, and the neighborhood
