Sous Chef

Full-Time Sous Chef – Busy Downtown Jersey City Restaurant

We are a high-volume restaurant located in the heart of downtown Jersey City, currently seeking a full-time Sous Chef to join our kitchen team.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting in daily kitchen operations

• Expediting and maintaining service flow

• Overseeing food ordering and inventory

• Supporting all kitchen stations as needed

• Ensuring compliance with Health Department food safety standards

Requirements:

• Prior kitchen experience required

• Sous Chef experience preferred but not mandatory

• Strong leadership and organizational skills

• Weekend availability is a must

Salary: Negotiable based on experience
