Job Details

The Goodkind Group is seeking an experienced Catering/Banquet Chef to fill in for a approximately 5 plus weeks at a major NYC Hotel located in Midtown.

Qualified candidates must have:
2 plus years experience as a catering chef
Ability to motivate Back of the House staff to get the job done.
Help create menus for events
Ability to create canapes and train staff on process
Work with the FOH on menus and what the client wants.
Create tastings if necessary for different events
Manage kitchen and sanitary procedures - making sure everything is done correctly.
Manage scheduling of support staff.
