Part-Time/Full-Time hours per week

Cotogna, part of the Michelin-awarded Quince & Co. restaurant group, is seeking a warm, polished, and service-driven Host to join our front-of-house team. As the first point of contact, the Host sets the tone for the guest experience and plays a key role in our hospitality-driven culture.

Located in San Francisco’s historic Jackson Square, Cotogna is a lively, ingredient-focused Italian restaurant celebrated for its wood-fired cooking, handmade pasta, and warm neighborhood feel. We are part of a hospitality group that values professionalism, genuine connection, and a commitment to excellence.

What You’ll Do
  • Warmly greet and welcome all guests, embodying the hospitality standards of Cotogna and Quince & Co.

  • Manage reservations, cancellations, and waitlist through with accuracy and grace.

  • Coordinate guest flow between the dining room, bar, and kitchen to ensure a seamless service.

  • Communicate clearly with managers, servers, and the kitchen to anticipate needs and support smooth operations.

  • Maintain a polished presence at the host stand and assist with light administrative or service tasks as needed.

What We’re Looking For
  • Prior host or guest-facing hospitality experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment preferred.

  • A warm demeanor, professional communication skills, and genuine enthusiasm for hospitality.

  • Strong organizational skills and comfort navigating reservation platforms. 

  • Ability to remain calm, composed, and solutions-oriented during busy service periods.

  • Team-player mindset with a desire to contribute to a positive work environment.


Compensation Details

Compensation: Hourly ($19.18) plus tips
