Captain

Chez Fifi on the UES seeks a Captain to join our team. Chez Fifi is part of the We All Gotta Eat! restaurant group, that includes Michelin Star rated Sushi Noz and Noz 17, as well as, Noz Markt in NYC and Eleventh Street Pizza locations in Miami..  

We are seeking an experienced Captain to work with us up to 4 shifts shifts per week.

Responsibilities include:

• Working in coordination with managers, culinary team, captains, server assistants and sommeliers to provide the utmost experience for our guests.
• Must anticipate guests' needs and ensure seamless and exceptional dining experiences.
• Must communicate with knowledge, confidence and enthusiasm the details of the food and beverage offerings and service options.
• Set up table settings, chairs and floor plan to accommodate the daily reservations and help maintain cleanliness and safety of the restaurant.
• Maintain detailed guest notes and preferences and expectation
• Process guest payments according to guidelines.   Handling of gratuities must take place in the public view.
• Report guest issues to management and work in coordination to resolve any service or menu issues.
• Maintain punctuality, focus and dedication to the overall success of the restaurant.
• Remain  professional and respectful in all interactions with colleagues, guest and with all who do business with the Company at all times.

Physical requirements: Position requires standing, walking and bending for long periods of time.  Able to lift up to 30 lbs.
