The Role: Executive Pastry Chef
Grand Brasserie is seeking a dynamic and experienced pastry chef to join our team and lead the pastry department. This candidate will oversee service, train and mentor line level pastry cooks, manage production and collaborate with culinary and operations in the development of delicious confections.
Responsibilities & Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in a similar role, high volume capability is crucial.
- Drive internal teams to meticulously manage pastry production and quality.
- Training & development of staff, maintenance of recipes, creating and executing standard preparation procedures, ensuring all team members are following standards.
- Ensure service runs smoothly and efficiently
- Knowledge of and compliance with all NY Health & Safety standards, company policies/ procedures/standards as they relate to their department.
- Present in the kitchen with the team during prime service periods
Salary ($85,000.00 - $99,000.00)
