Position: Bartender – Outdoor Kiosk Bar
Location: Redwood Park, Transamerica Pyramid
Job Overview: We are seeking a highly responsible and self-motivated bartender for our upscale outdoor kiosk bar located in Redwood Park. This is a full-time, day shift position from 11 AM to 8 PM, offering a relaxed yet refined atmosphere where luxury service meets a laid-back setting. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional bartending skills, a keen sense of responsibility, and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities:

Craft and serve high-quality cocktails, wine, and beer in line with luxury service standards while maintaining a casual, approachable vibe.

Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area throughout the shift.

Engage with guests to create a welcoming atmosphere, providing a memorable experience through attentive, polished service.

Handle cash and card transactions accurately, including opening and closing the register.

Monitor and control bar inventory, reporting any shortages or necessary reorders.

Ensure compliance with all safety and sanitation guidelines, particularly in an outdoor setting.

Effectively manage the bar solo during operating hours, demonstrating excellent time management and multitasking skills.

Respond swiftly to unexpected situations, adapting to fluctuating guest volume and unique requests.

Stay knowledgeable about the bar menu, including seasonal cocktails and specialty items, and actively promote featured offerings.
Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of bartending experience, preferably in upscale or luxury settings.

Strong working knowledge of cocktail preparation, wine service, and bar operations.

Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Excellent communication and guest interaction skills, with the ability to maintain a calm, composed demeanor during busy periods.

Must be available for the entire shift from 11 AM to 8 PM and possess the stamina to work independently in an outdoor setting.

California Food Handler’s Certification and Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) Certification are required.

Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Compensation Details
Compensation: Hourly ($22.00 - $26.00) plus tips
