JKS Restaurants are seeking a Senior Sous Chef to lead on a new restaurant opening in 2025.The successful candidate will be personable, passionate, and possess exceptional experience in the fine dining space.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Senior Sous Chef looking to join an award-winning, critically acclaimed group with huge plans for growth in the US and the rest of the globe.

The Group

JKS Restaurants is a London based group. Founded by siblings Jyotin, Karam and Sunaina Sethi in November 2008. The group has received critical acclaim and industry recognition since its inception, including 7 Michelin stars, 5 Michelin Bib Gourmands and one restaurant ranked in the World’s 100 Best restaurants.

In London the JKS portfolio currently includes Michelin Starred restaurants Trishna, Gymkhana, Kitchen Table, Sabor and Lyle’s; as well as cult favourites Hoppers, BAO, Brigadiers, Berenjak, Plaza Khao Gaeng, Speedboat Bar and Bibi. Pubs include The Cadogan Arms, The George and The Hound.

Across the Middle Berenjak, Gymkhana and Hoppers can be found in Dubai, Sharjah, Doha and Riyadh.

The Role

As Senior Sous Chef, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of consistent, high quality and innovative dishes throughout the operation. You will play a key role in menu development, working closely with the Head Chef; you will assist in managing the overall kitchen operation, including prep schedules, stock control, budgeting and maintenance, as well as the day to day management of the kitchen team.

If you have the following, then we want to hear from you:

  • Previous experience as a Senior Sous Chef or Sous Chef in a high quality Restaurant or Michelin environment;
  • Strong awareness of trends and seasonality of produce;
  • A highly creative approach to your work with excellent attention to detail;
  • Proven ability to manage, train and motivate a Kitchen brigade;
  • Experience scheduling and reviewing staff rotas;
  • A working knowledge of health and safety, compliance and procedures;

Compensation Details

Compensation: Salary ($75,000.00 - $90,000.00)
