The Alderman at Motto Times Square is seeking experienced and hospitality-driven servers to join our team. As a server, you will be the direct point of contact for our guests, ensuring a seamless dining experience through attentive service, menu knowledge, and an elevated approach to hospitality. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about food & beverage and committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Providing warm, knowledgeable, and attentive service throughout the guest experience.
• Maintaining an in-depth understanding of all food and beverage offerings, including ingredients, preparation methods, and pairings.
• Taking accurate orders, ensuring special requests and dietary restrictions are properly communicated.
• Coordinating with bartenders and kitchen staff to facilitate smooth service.
• Managing multiple tables with efficiency, organization, and professionalism.
• Presenting food and beverages with attention to presentation standards and brand expectations.
• Upselling and suggesting menu items with genuine enthusiasm to enhance the guest experience.
• Following proper cash handling and POS procedures.
• Adhering to all Renwick Hospitality service standards, including proper handling of glassware, silverware, and trays.
• Supporting seamless communication between front-of-house and back-of-house teams to ensure service flows smoothly.
• Maintaining cleanliness of tables, assisting with bussing and resetting between courses as needed.
• Creating a welcoming atmosphere by engaging with guests, offering recommendations, and anticipating needs.
• Following our 10/4 Rule—acknowledge guests within 10 feet, greet them within 4 feet.
• Demonstrating reliability by showing up on time and being a committed team player.
Important Information:
• A minimum of 3 shifts per week, with a maximum of 5 shifts. Our goal is to provide 4 shifts weekly, averaging at least 30 hours, based on business needs.
• Must be flexible between morning and evening shifts. Please be clear about any scheduling expectations, as this may impact hiring decisions.
