ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re seeking a passionate Sous Chef with strong leadership skills, a positive attitude, and a love of good food. You’ll cook with top-quality ingredients — including produce from our farm — and help manage a dynamic, high-volume kitchen while deepening your knowledge of Middle Eastern and Turkish cuisine.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Oversee daily kitchen operations alongside the Executive Chef and Chef de Cuisine
· Ensure food quality, consistency, presentation, and safety standards
· Supervise and support kitchen staff; assist with hiring, training, and performance management
· Work stations as needed and help manage inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships
· Contribute to menu specials and special events
· Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment
· Uphold company culture and promote a collaborative, positive workplace
QUALIFICATIONS
· 2+ years of professional kitchen experience
· Strong kitchen fundamentals: cleanliness, safety, organization
· Team player with a positive attitude and strong attention to detail
· Excellent communication and multitasking skills in a fast-paced setting
· Desire for long-term employment and professional growth
· Availability for nights, weekends, and some holidays
· Ability to work 50-54 hours per week
