Host

The Lead Host is the first and last impression of our restaurant. This role oversees the host team while actively managing guest flow, reservations, and the overall front-door experience. The Lead Host sets the tone for hospitality, ensures smooth service, and supports the front-of-house team during service.

• Greet guests warmly and manage waitlists and reservations with professionalism

• Lead, train, and support the host team during shifts

• Coordinate seating to balance service flow and maximize guest satisfaction

• Communicate effectively with servers, managers, and kitchen staff

• Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and concerns with care and urgency

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and entry area

• Assist management with scheduling, onboarding, and performance feedback for hosts

• Uphold all service standards, policies, and safety procedures

• 1–2 years of hosting experience in a high-volume restaurant (lead experience preferred)

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Calm, confident presence in fast-paced environments

• Ability to lead by example and motivate a team

• Experience with reservation system preferred (Open Table)
