Reports To: Executive Pastry Chef / Executive Chef
Beefbar is seeking a talented and passionate Pastry Sous Chef to support our pastry program. The ideal candidate is an innovative and detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. As Pastry Sous Chef, you will work alongside the Executive Pastry Chef to create and execute a refined dessert menu that complements our globally inspired, beef-centric cuisine.
Key Responsibilities:-
Assist in leading the pastry team in daily operations, prep, and service execution

Contribute to menu development with a focus on seasonality, creativity, and presentation

Oversee quality control, ensuring consistency and excellence in every dish

Train, mentor, and develop junior pastry staff

Maintain cleanliness and organization in all pastry workstations

Monitor inventory and manage ordering to minimize waste and control food cost

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards

Step into leadership in the absence of the Executive Pastry Chef

Minimum 3 years of pastry experience in a high-end or fine dining kitchen

Proven leadership or supervisory experience

Strong technical skills in pastry, baking, plated desserts, and confections

High attention to detail and creative flair

Knowledge of inventory, ordering, and kitchen operations

Excellent time management and organizational skills

Flexible schedule with availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays

Compensation Details
Compensation: Salary ($70,000.00 - $75,000.00)
