As the Facilities Specialist you are responsible for the general maintenance of 70 Pine. You will help maintain the integrity of the general aesthetic and work through the daily responsibilities of the maintenance department. You will work closely with the Porters to support set up for Private Events. The Facilities Specialist will complete general repairs for the space and equipment ranging from unskilled to skilled projects.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- Must have 2 years + experience in a fast paced NYC restaurant in a similar position
- Must be able to lift & a carry at least 50 pounds
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Must be comfortable with repetitive motions (such as walking, bending & standing)
- Must have full schedule availability
- Must be able to take constructive criticisms and work well in a team dynamic
MAINTENANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure the function of all internal building systems including but not limited to: mechanical, electrical, fire/life safety, plumbing, waste management, HVAC and gas
- Upkeep the aesthetics of the building. Including but not limited to painting, general repairs, and general improvements
- Manage inventory of tools, facilities materials & supplies
- Work with the Facilities Director to keep operations compliant with all local rules and regulations including DOH, FDNY, DOS and DOT
- Assist with special projects as needed
- Report all complaints and issues involving staff or guests to Human Resources
ADMINISTRATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create Facilities Schedules in coordination with the CDC & within budget guidelines
- Approve Facilities Time Cards
- Approve & schedule Facilities PTO
Compensation Details
Compensation: Hourly ($20.00 - $23.00)
