We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Floor Manager to join the team at our new, high-energy restaurant and lounge located in the vibrant East Village. This pivotal role requires an individual who can uphold our establishment's standards and contribute significantly to an unforgettable guest experience. The required availability includes Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings, as well as Saturday and Sunday brunch shifts. All shifts are scheduled for 8 hours.
The Floor Manager will be responsible for overseeing comprehensive floor and bar operations, ensuring seamless service delivery. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing all aspects of floor and bar activities to ensure efficiency and adherence to service standards.
- Providing clear direction, motivation, and support to bartenders and servers, fostering a culture of exceptional customer service.
- Executing precise opening and closing procedures, including cash reconciliation and report generation, and completing all closing checklists.
- Filling shifts for absent staff.
- Proactively interacting with guests, cultivating a welcoming and dynamic atmosphere that enhances their overall experience.
- Driving beverage sales and ensuring consistent guest satisfaction through attentive and engaging service.
- Maintaining rigorous standards for food and beverage quality, promptly addressing any guest concerns with professionalism.
- Contributing to a lively and enjoyable ambiance that aligns with the establishment's brand.
- Ensuring all staff members adhere to established operational procedures and complete assigned checklists diligently.
