We’re looking for a friendly, reliable, and experienced Host/Hostess to join our team at Jōtō | CH Distillery — a fast-paced sushi restaurant and distillery located in the heart of West Loop.

✨ Previous hosting or restaurant experience is required for this position.
Ideal Candidate:

Has a positive attitude and works well in a team setting

Greets guests with a warm, genuine smile and creates a welcoming first impression at the door

Is punctual, dependable, and ready to learn

Can listen well, follow direction, and stay focused during busy shifts

Is comfortable using computers or reservation systems

Has a basic understanding (or interest) in sushi or Japanese cuisine—not required but helpful

Communicates clearly and stays calm under pressure
