Bartender

Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology, a strong understanding of classic and modern cocktails, and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service. This role involves preparing beverages to the highest standards, learning the food menu and maintaining a clean and organized bar, and contributing to a welcoming and energetic atmosphere.

Drink Preparation & Menu Execution:

• Prepare a wide range of beverages according to standard recipes and presentation guidelines.

• Stay up to date on all beverage offerings, including seasonal and featured cocktails.

• Suggest drink pairings and upsell specialty items to enhance the guest experience.

Customer Service:

• Provide warm, attentive service to all guests at the bar.

• Take orders accurately and efficiently, including both beverages and food items.

• Develop thorough knowledge of the food menu to answer questions, recommend dishes, and coordinate timing with the kitchen.

Bar Maintenance & Cleanliness:

• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar at all times.

• Follow all NYC Department of Health and internal sanitation standards.

• Assist with opening, closing, and bar prep duties.

Inventory Support:

• Monitor bar stock levels and notify management of any shortages.

• Assist with receiving and organizing bar deliveries.

Compliance & Safety:

• Adhere to responsible alcohol service protocols and check IDs as required by law.

• Follow all health and safety guidelines, including proper handling of food and beverages.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of bartending experience in a high-volume or full-service environment.

• Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine, and beer.

• Comfortable taking and serving food orders at the bar with accuracy and efficiency.

• Excellent communication and guest service skills.

• Ability to multitask and stay composed in a fast-paced setting.

• Certification in responsible alcohol service preferred
