Job Details
As the Maitre D' you will greet guests, make and confirm reservations, host all VIP guests, and lead the host team to ensure the highest standards of service as well as coordinating all information with management and FOH team. You are responsible for the logistic details of reservations, arrangements for large parties and BEO events while helping curate the overall atmosphere of the venue.
Role and responsibilities:

Maintain the venue conceptual vision and creative integrity

Collaborate and connect with the management team

Effectively and efficiently problem solve all issues as they arise

Initiate solution-based system and procedure improvements

Be an ambassador of the Tuxedo Hospitality brand while building your own personal profile

Assist in the recruitment, on-boarding and training of hosts

Lead, motivate and ensure high performance of FOH team members

Provide FOH team feedback to the Assistant General Manager and Service Manager
Day to day operations

Responding to reservation emails and voicemails

Maximise table inventory prior to opening and contact notify list

Google all reservations and tag guests where required

Collaborate and connect with Tuxedo Hospitality Reservationist and Guest Relations

Present team pre-shift reservation and BEO notes

Greet Guests as they arrive

Seat according to table assignment on RESY

Recognize regulars, high profile guests and update guest notes

Proactively communicate with management and BOH during service

Send end of day report

Compensation Details
Compensation: Hourly ($18.00 - $24.00) plus tips
