Ometeo is a fresh, fun and elevated take on TexMex cuisine and Tyson's new favorite gathering spot! A Tex Mex mashup of cuisine and culture, Ometeo is inspired by the ingredients, techniques and heritage from West Texas down to the Gulf Coast. Ometeo's culinary foundation is rooted firmly in Tex Mex tradition, heightened by Long Shot Hospitality's passion for seafood and local produce. Under the guidance of two award-winning chefs- Long Shot Hospitality chef Kyle Bailey and Texas native and Top Chef winner Gabe Erales- we’re taking Tex Mex and breathing fresh air into it without compromising the warm comforting memories most people associate with sizzling platters and good times margaritas.
Long Shot Hospitality has a reputation of building very strong and loyal regular neighborhood followings and so we are actively looking for hospitality professionals to join our team who will be focused on doing the same in our newest venue. Ideal candidates have both fine dining and high volume experience; are reliable, efficient and organized; and are excellent TEAM players who truly enjoy providing memorable guest experiences. Candidates bring a high energy positive and professional approach to the position and possess a genuine passion and enthusiasm for hospitality and the restaurant business.
We are currently seeking a talented and motivated Sous Chef to join our culinary team. The Sous Chef will support the Executive Chef in managing kitchen operations, leading the team, and ensuring exceptional food quality and consistency in a high-volume, upscale environment.

Desired Qualifications:

1–2 years of relevant high volume/upscale chef experience

Strong leadership and strategic kitchen management skills

Professional, punctual, reliable

Ability to drive performance and success of the kitchen and culinary staff

Must be comfortable being on your feet for extended periods of time and working both indoors and outdoors
