West Village Italian-American restaurant San Sabino, sister restaurant to Don Angie, is seeking experienced Captains to join the team!
Our Front of House team must represent the restaurant with the highest levels of hospitality and professionalism with a relaxed yet refined service style. All team members must interact with restaurant guests, staff members, and management in a professional and collaborative manner to create an exemplary and memorable dining experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Attributes:
• Possess excellent communication skills with management, servers, team members and guests.
• Able to clearly and accurately communicate with guests and co-workers in English (including reading, writing, and speaking).
• Excellent time management and organizational skills and be able to multi-task.
• Knowledge of all menu items served at restaurant, as well as general knowledge of food, wine, and other beverages.
• Knowledge of standard and classic restaurant service procedures including wine service.
• Must be a team player.
• Knowledge of workplace safety procedures and sanitation skills according to Department of Health standards for hygiene and safe food handling.

Position Requirements:
• Available to work various shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• 100% -- Walks and stands during entire shift.
• Must be able to frequently seize, grasp, and hold objects with hands.
• 75% - Reaches, bends and stoops frequently.
• Must be able to move, carry and lift at least 50 pounds with frequency throughout shift.
• Must be of legal age to serve alcohol according to all state and local regulations to serve alcohol.

Compensation Details
Compensation: Hourly ($16.50) plus tips
