Group Sales Manager – Receptive Tour Operator Relations

Grand Brasserie is a 400-seat, all-day French brasserie located in the iconic Vanderbilt Hall at Grand Central Terminal. Blending Parisian elegance with New York energy, we serve guests from around the world from 5:30 AM to 2:00 AM daily. With a prime location and capacity to host large groups, we are a natural dining destination for international visitors, travel groups, and tour programs.
The Role:
We are seeking an experienced and highly connected Group Sales Manager – Receptive Tour Operator Relations to lead our outreach and bookings with inbound tourism professionals. You will play a key role in positioning Grand Brasserie as a premier dining option for international tour operators, DMCs (Destination Management Companies), motorcoach groups, and FIT (fully independent traveler) programs.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain relationships with receptive tour operators, travel wholesalers, and tourism partners
- Create customized group dining packages and commissionable offers
- Drive group bookings through proactive outreach, networking, and industry participation
- Represent Grand Brasserie at trade shows, industry events, and sales missions
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery for group dining experiences
- Track and report on sales activity, pipeline, and revenue goals
Qualifications:
- 3+ years experience in tourism, hospitality, or restaurant sales with a focus on group and international travel markets
- Strong network of contacts in the receptive operator and group travel sector
- Understanding of commission structures and trade relationships
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
- A proactive, relationship-driven sales mindset
- Multilingual skills a plus; passion for French cuisine and culture preferred

Compensation: Salary ($65,000.00 - $85,000.00)
