Bartender

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Set up and breakdown of the bar, including juicing, batching, restocking wines and spirits, equipment, etc.
• Greet customers upon seated, present menus and assist with any questions to select food/beverages
• Take and serve orders accurately and in a timely manner
• Prepare quality craft cocktails and house speciality cocktails
• Collaborate front of house and kitchen in a positive attitude
• Ensure guest satisfaction through providing excellent customer service
• Handle cash transactions and operate register (Toast System)
• Ability to promote daily specials to guests of food or beverages
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
• Open to ideating seasonal cocktails
• Share with management team re stock needs

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in high volume restaurants
• Ability to create classic cocktails and follow new recipes
• Knowledge of types of spirits, wines, and techniques
• Teamwork and positive attitude
• Strong guest relations skills to build report with regular customers
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change
• Ability work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members
