Job Details

Misipasta, established in 2019, is our pasta and Italian specialties company which combines retail and hospitality into a signature brand. Our goal is to provide guests with specialty products as well as the knowledge and tools, so that they can recreate aspects of the acclaimed Misi and Lilia dining experiences beyond the restaurant walls.

The Misipasta store will blend the classic Italian specialty market & aperitivo bar, with modern retail experiences. We will be providing a highly interactive and curated space for guests, and the Service Manager must model warm and gracious hospitality while maintaining brand standards.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Commit to communication systems Service Directors and Director of Operations
  • Lead with the Grovehouse values always in mind.
  • Inspire, support and direct all team members. 
  • Lead daily team pre-shifts
  • Train all team members to provide hospitality and service to both on-premise and retail guest experiences
  • Promote internal growth and professional development for our team members - we want everyone to achieve their goals.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of Misipasta retail products, and educate all team members on store products/offerings
  • Support team members during service - assist with steps of service, warmly and organically engage with guests and make sure the team is safe and secure at all times.
  • Prepare for service by publishing daily floor plans, menu printing and preparing daily tip sheets.
  • Credit card and cash sales management - daily reconciliation and cash deposits. 
  • Maintain physical cleanliness and upkeep of the store
  • Administrative tasks may include supply inventory, scheduling, guest satisfaction engagement, etc.

Compensation Details

Compensation: Salary ($75,000.00 - $85,000.00)

MISIPASTA, originally focused on take-home pasta kits, evolved to include MP Grocery as a way for us to bring you a collection of curated ingredients so that you have your own Italian larder at home! Soon after the launch of MISIPASTA Grocery, MISIPASTA Specialties was born as our way to bring you the nostalgic dining experiences of Lilia and Misi. We created everything from marinated zucchini and artichokes (fan favorites), to slow roasted tomatoes in oil and Chef Missy's signature fennel pollen!

We offer local pick-up options as well as MISIPASTA-delivery services!
