FULL TIME DISHWASHER/PORTER AT A NEW CHINESE WINE BAR IN CHINATOWN 20-21/HR
Opening Summer 2025

We are a new, small but focused, Chinese Cuisine-driven wine bar set to open in Chinatown this summer!

We’re now seeking a hardworking and dependable Dishwasher / Porter to join our team. This is a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, where your dedication and teamwork will help create memorable meals for our guests.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using the dishwasher or by hand as needed
• Ensure all kitchen tools and equipment are properly sanitized and stored
• Keep dish area clean and organized at all times
• Take out trash, recycling, and compost in accordance with health and safety standards
• Sweep, mop, and clean floors, walls, and kitchen surfaces regularly and at the end of the night
• Assist with unloading deliveries and organizing supplies in storage areas
• Refill and stock kitchen and restaurant supplies like paper towels, soap, and sanitizer
• Maintain cleanliness of restrooms as required
• Report any maintenance or safety issues to management immediately
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Support chefs and kitchen staff with additional tasks as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
• Ability to work efficiently in a kitchen environment and stay on your feet for up to 10 hours a day
• Reliable, punctual, and a team player
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and handle repetitive tasks
• Prior experience in a kitchen or janitorial role is a plus, but not required
