Head Bartender

Cocktail Bar FOLK , sister restaurant of LORE , is seeking passionate professional head Mixologist  / bartender  to join our team! This is a position where the candidate must be able to take on bar shifts in any given work week.

We are looking for bar team members to support the front-of-house and provide thoughtful service. 

All candidates must have minimun 4 years  previous NYC restaurant and bar experience, great social skills, and be organized, detail-oriented and kind. This person should have a command of service, wine, spirits, and food knowledge in tandem with understanding how to manage the bar consistently with tact and grace. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and has basic knowledge and sincere appreciation in food, beverage, and service. 

The Head Bartender will work closely with the leadership team to develop a bar program that we can all stand behind for guests and colleagues alike. Our vision for the bar program is a combination of fresh and seasonal cocktails, with an intentional and approachable beer and wine list. The bartender will be the ambassador of our beverage program and is also expected to interact with the guests and elevate their dining experience.

The position is full-time and requires evening and weekend availability. We will work with every member to ensure a healthy balance, as well as provide education and other tools needed to succeed.
