Major Food Group seeks a Grill Cook to join our team at Carbone Miami!
The Grill Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking food items on the grill in accordance with standardized recipes and established food safety guidelines. The role requires attention to detail, efficiency, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Set up and stock grill station with all necessary supplies.

Prepare and cook menu items using grills and other kitchen equipment.

Ensure food is cooked to proper temperature and presented according to company standards.

Monitor grill equipment and food temperatures to ensure safe cooking practices.

Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of grill station and work area.

Follow portion control, presentation, and timing standards.

Assist with food prep and other kitchen duties as needed.

Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team to ensure timely food delivery.

Adhere to health, safety, and hygiene regulations at all times.
- Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in high volume and fine dining restaurants preferred but not required
- Experience working grill station
- Culinary diploma or equivalent in experience strongly preferred
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Team-orientated and positive attitude
- Strong communication skills a must

Compensation Details
Compensation: Hourly ($22.00 - $25.00)
