Olmsted is seeking a career-minded Head Bartender who is highly skilled, experienced, and deeply motivated and passionate about hospitality. The ideal candidate will have advanced knowledge of classic cocktails and spirits and exude a passion for mixology and craft beverages.
As the Head Bartender, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the bar, supervising bartenders, and ensuring compliance with Department of Health safety regulations. You will also be in charge of prepping and batching our house cocktails once or twice a week, keeping track of inventory, and ordering liquor and bar ingredients as needed.
The Head Bartender will work with the Bar Manager and General Manager to ensure and uphold the highest standards of beverage service.

Candidate prerequisites:
- NYC Food Handler’s Certification
- Proficiency in steps of service
- Extensive knowledge of spirits and cocktails, including classic and contemporary recipes
- Creative and self-motivated problem solver
- Strong desire to be relied upon
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
