Sous Chef- Neighborhood Wine Bar

Michelin starred chefs, David and Anna Posey, are bring a new concept to Chicago. Creating a warm and welcoming wine-focused bistro tucked into the West Loop neighborhood. Our kitchen, led by Tayler Ploshehanski, is ingredient-driven and creative, with a menu designed using classic techniques and seasonality to complement great wine and conversation. We are seeking a Sous Chef to help lead our kitchen and to grow with our team.
What you’ll do:
~Support the Executive Chef in daily operations and service execution
~Lead kitchen staff and manage line during service
~Uphold quality, consistency and cleanliness standards
~Contribute to menu development and seasonal planning
~Assist in inventory, ordering, and prep
~Maintain a positive, collaborative kitchen culture
Who you are:
~2+ years in a professional kitchen with leadership experience
~Passionate about food, wine, and hospitality
~Calm under pressure, and organized in fast-paced environment
~Strong at problem-solving and communicating with a team-first attitude
~Familiar with seasonal cooking and open to creativity

Compensation Details
Compensation: Salary ($65,000.00 - $70,000.00)
