We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Maître D' / Captain to join our team and help enhance our guest experience.
Job Description:
As a Maître D' / Captain, you will ensure that we provide the highest level of service to our guests. You will be an integral face of the restaurant, serve tables with a warm and professional affect, and oversee the front-of-house operations to ensure a seamless, unforgettable dining experience. Candidates for this position must be extremely efficient hospitality professionals with a warm, graceful demeanor, professional appearance, and a love of providing outstanding customer service.

Greet and welcome guests with a warm, personalized, and professional approach.
- Serve tables with graciousness and professionalism.

Manage reservations with Host staff, ensuring efficient seating arrangements and a smooth flow in the dining room.

Oversee front-of-house staff, ensuring impeccable service and adherence to fine dining standards.

Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and any concerns, ensuring complete guest satisfaction.

Oversee the overall ambiance and dining experience, creating an inviting and comfortable environment.

Train, motivate, and lead the front-of-house team to deliver exceptional service at all times.
Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Maitre D, or in a similar role within a fine-dining or Italian restaurant environment. Italian speaking a plus.

In-depth knowledge of Italian wines, regions, and wine pairings. Sommelier experience is a big plus.

Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a passion for creating memorable guest experiences.

Previous experience as a Captain required

Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage reservations, guest expectations, and the dining room flow.

A strong understanding of Italian fine dining culture and etiquette.
