POSITION SUMMARY: Assists owners in handling all aspects of the beer garden operation and maintaining a high level of guest experience.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure that every guest has great memorable experience.
- Hire, train, develop and discipline hourly front of the house staff according to company policies.
- Maintain and always improve the training program.
- Build a supportive and cooperative professional environment with the team members.
- Oversee daily scheduling and assignment of duties to all FOH staff.
- Oversee inventory and ordering of products.
- Lead the hourly team to ensure a positive and happy environment while ensuring top performance.
- Maintain and update Toast POS, Resy, and other applications necessary for seamless operation.
- Manage P&L and meet financial performance goals.
- Oversee sales and execution of private events.
- Perform other duties as requested by ownership.
- Maintain active ABCA Manager license and DC DOH Food Manager license.
- This position is required to work on weekends, evening hours, and holidays.
- Other duties will be assigned as needed.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Five years or more of progressive restaurant management experience is required;
- Expert knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint;
- Superb effective business writing skills;
- Excellent time-management skills;
- Impeccable personal presentation and sense of decorum.
