Job Title: Chef / Manager – Fast-Casual Taco Restaurant (NYC)
Location: New York, NY
Salary: $75,000–$80,000/year + Quarterly Bonuses + Annual increases
Full-time | Weekends & Evenings Required

We’re a fast-growing, fast-casual taco concept redefining the NYC dining experience. We’re seeking a Chef Manager who brings passion, leadership, and a hands-on approach to building strong teams and memorable guest experiences.
 
What You'll Do:
As our Chef Manager, you'll be responsible for all day-to-day operations of the restaurant. You’ll lead by example, foster a positive team culture, and ensure the highest food quality, service, and cleanliness levels. Your role will be essential in driving performance, upholding brand standards, and growing our overall business.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of 20+ team members and shift leaders
  • Manage scheduling, labor costs, and daily restaurant operations, including overseeing the ordering of all products
  • Ensure exceptional guest service and handle escalated guest concerns
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, safety, and cleanliness
  • Collaborate with leadership to achieve financial targets (P&L, COGS, labor)
  • Conduct regular staff training and performance evaluations
  • Uphold company culture, values, and operational excellence
What We’re Looking For
  • 2+ years of Chef Manager experience in a high-volume fast-casual or QSR environment
  • Must be bilingual in Spanish
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Proven ability to train and motivate teams
  • Understanding of restaurant financials and inventory management
  • Passion for hospitality, food, and guest satisfaction
  • NYC DOH Food Protection Certificate (or willing to obtain)
