A banquet bartender is responsible for serving drinks at events such as weddings, conferences, and parties. Here are some details about the job:
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve drinks according to the event's specifications.
- Manage cash transactions, credit card payments, and tab management.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area.
- Provide excellent customer service to guests.
- Work efficiently during peak hours and manage multiple drink orders.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Two years of Bartending experience in a banquet or event setting.
- Knowledge of Classic Cocktails, mixology, drink recipes, and pouring techniques such as using a jiggers
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and multitask.
- Basic math skills for handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system.
Work Environment:
- Banquet bartenders work in various settings, ievent spaces, weddings, and conference centers.
- Events can be held during the day or evening, and bartenders may work varying shifts.
- The work environment can be fast-paced, especially during peak event hours.
