Role: Taproom Manager, NYC
Searching for an experienced Taproom Manager for TALEA Beer Co.’s Penn District location in NYC. As we continue to expand, we’re looking for exceptional people to join our leadership team and grow with us. Must have experience in senior restaurant / bar management and high volume service.
About Us
TALEA’s original brewery and taproom in Williamsburg, Brooklyn opened in March 2021. We are NYC’s only female-founded production brewery. TALEA operates four other taprooms across NYC. Our hospitality-focused experience showcases our signature low-bitterness, fruit-forward beers, boasts unique beer cocktails, and features a small, beer-friendly food program. With our 20 barrel brew house and pilot system, we continue to brew and release crowd favorites as well as experimental small batch beers, all with the mission of creating easy-to-love beers “perhaps to replace that glass of rosé” (Florence Fabricant, The New York Times). Our beers are available at Whole Foods, Trader Joe’s, Costco and hundreds of bars, restaurants, and retailers across NYC and the surrounding areas.
The Role
The Taproom Manager will be responsible for the entire operation of the taproom, ensuring that guests are delighted and that staff are trained, supported, and motivated. Additionally, they will be responsible for creating, implementing, and driving improvements in taproom operations, revenue, procedures, and staffing. Experience managing in fine dining or high volume restaurants is required – a passion for craft beer is a plus.
As a member of the nimble but fast growing TALEA team, you’ll be joining a growing company and working closely with the other taproom managers and co-founders. We value autonomy, ambition, grit, and an insatiable desire to exceed expectations. If you’re looking for an exciting, fast-paced, challenging opportunity, we’d love to hear from you.
