Job duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Completes all assigned side work related to set up and breakdown of the bar, consomme station, and coffee/ice cream station.
- Ensures the bar is well-stocked with glasses, coasters, napkins, straws, ice, liquor, wine, and beer.Ensures that the consomme station is well-stocked with cups, trays, and consomme.
- Ensures the coffee/ice cream station is well-stocked with coffee, teas, cups, saucers, spoons, ice cream cups, ice cream sticks.
- Ensures all machinery including coffee equipment and ice cream machine is set up and running.
- Stocks and organizes drink pass with garnishes and straws.
- Prepares glassware, ticket rail, and drink trays.Garnishes drinks, pours beer from a keg, opens soda bottles, according to bartenders’ instructions.
- Delivers customer beverages, consomme, and ice creams to their assigned position and table quickly and accurately.
- Maintains tables by removing glassware as completed, replenishing beverages, refilling water glasses and being alert to customer needs when delivering beverages.
- Proactively busses empty glassware, consomme cups, and ice cream cups.
- Takes orders from customers and ensures 100% accuracy when entering orders into the system.
- Drink runners should have thorough knowledge of all beverage items, ingredients, and presentation to answer all customer inquiries and maintain quality control.
- Reports to each scheduled shift on time, in uniform, and ready to work.
- Ensures beverage is served in accordance with safety standards (e.g. proper temperature).
- Liaises between bartenders and floor staff.
- Reads the order tickets and ensures that all customers are delivered the correct beverages.
- Ability to answer customers’ questions about cocktails and wines by the glass.
- Responsible for training new employees as assigned.
- Assists other stations or areas of the restaurant when requested by management.
- Responsible for running beverages and consumables out of the water and dish station: including but not limited to- waters, soft serve, coffees, and consomme.

Qualifications:
- Must have the ability to read, speak, understand, follow written directions, and verbal instructions in English.
- Must be reachable by email and able to communicate via phone as well.

- Possesses a positive, results-oriented, team-player mentality.
- Ability to perform job duties and responsibilities well and maintain professionalism and composure under pressure and in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
- Ability to under pressure and maintain professionalism when working under stress.
- Knowledge of workplace safety procedures and local Department of Health standards.
- Food Handler’s Certification or the ability to obtain in accordance with federal, state, or local regulations and/or Company policy.

- Must be of legal age to serve alcohol.
- Certification for responsible alcohol service or ability to obtain within 6 months.
- Familiarity with restaurant management software such as point of sales, reservations management, inventory management, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace.

- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
