Job Title: Assistant General Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant General Manager to join our team and contribute to our continued success.
Position Overview:
- The Assistant General Manager will support the General Manager in overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant and members club. This role is integral in maintaining the high standards of service, quality, and guest satisfaction that define our establishment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for “relaxed” fine dining, a keen eye for detail, and a strong leadership presence.
Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to) :
- Operational Management: Assist in the oversight of day-to-day operations, ensuring that all aspects of the restaurant and members’ areas run smoothly and efficiently.
- Team Supervision: Support the recruitment, training, and development of the team. Provide guidance and leadership to ensure the team meets performance standards and delivers exceptional service.
- Guest Relations: Enhance the guest experience by addressing any issues or concerns promptly and professionally. Ensure that every guest receives the high level of service expected from a Michelin-starred restaurant.
- Financial Oversight: Assist in managing budgets, controlling costs, and analyzing financial performance. Implement strategies with approval of the GM/managing partners to drive revenue and optimize profitability.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain and uphold the restaurant's standards for food quality, cleanliness, and overall presentation. Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Event Coordination: Assist in planning and executing special events that include all live performances, private dining experiences, and other high-profile functions.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the culinary team, front-of-house team, Membership and other departments to ensure seamless operations and a cohesive guest experience.
- Reporting: Prepare and present reports on various aspects of restaurant performance, including sales, customer feedback, and staff performance.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a managerial role within a fine dining or Michelin-starred restaurant. Previous experience as an Assistant General Manager or similar position is highly desirable.
- Education: An Associates or bachelors degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to handle high-pressure situations with grace and professionalism.
- Knowledge: Deep understanding of fine dining standards, operational procedures, and industry trends. Proficiency in financial management and budget control.
- Personal Traits: Exceptional attention to detail, a passion for excellence, and a commitment to fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. A food and beverage “Geek” is preferred.
- Must have a valid ServSafe Manager Certification or willing to get one

Compensation Details
Compensation: Salary ($65,000.00 - $85,000.00)
