Seeking Part-Time Chef for Fast-Paced Italian Restaurant
Seeking a professional, well-seasoned chef who knows old-school Italian cuisine. This is a part-time position for a lunch shift, Tuesday–Friday, 9 am-3 pm, Only. This position is perfect for someone who has a nighttime gig and is looking for extra shifts. Someone with at least 5 years in an Italian kitchen is a must.
The chef will be expected to receive daily deliveries and check for freshness. Must be a team player, dedicated, and respectful. The chef must be familiar with cleaning and deboning fish, chicken, and meat. Must know how to make broths and sauces. Dishes such as Osso Buco, Bolognese sauce, brown sauce, marinara, etc. Hourly pay is $25-$29/hour, depending on experience. Must be a legal resident.
A food handler’s certificate is not required, but it is a plus. If you are not familiar with Italian cuisine, then please do not reply.
