Castell’s, a modern fine dining restaurant in Brooklyn, is seeking a passionate, disciplined, and experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen.

We are looking for someone with the leadership and technical skill to maintain and execute our established recipes and standards—not someone coming in to reinvent the wheel. This role is about excellence in consistency, team management, and kitchen operations.

Responsibilities include:

• Leading and managing the BOH team

• Ensuring flawless execution of our recipes and culinary vision

• Upholding quality, cleanliness, and efficiency during service

• Coordinating with front-of-house leadership on timing and pacing

• Ordering, inventory, and cost control

• Hiring, training, and mentoring cooks

• Enforcing health and safety protocols

Ideal Candidate:

• Minimum 5 years in a senior kitchen role (Sous Chef or higher)

• Strong leadership and communication skills

• Exceptional organizational ability and attention to detail

• Comfortable in a high-volume, high-standard kitchen

• Committed to respecting our culinary direction and ensuring consistency
