The Pearl Club Chicago is a Cocktail Lounge by James Beard award winning restaurantier Rob Katz from the Boka Group and Matt Ruder from the Rüder Group. Located in the former, iconic Emmits Irish pub. A sultry, rich-in-personality cocktail lounge nestled in the heart of Chicago’s next great neighborhood.

The host is the first person who interacts with our guests, and as such, it’s one of the most important positions at The Pearl Club. In addition to interacting with guests (answering questions, resolving issues), the host will be responsible for communicating to managers, service and kitchen teams. You are essential in helping the team create a memorable experience for our diners.  

Key Accountabilities

• Maintains open communication with kitchen staff, management, serving staff, and guests to ensure that dining details are handled properly and guests’ concerns are addressed.

• All that goes into making our guests feel at home: Greet them warmly. After their stay, ask about their experience, and take notes for future interactions. 
• Prints, folds, assembles, and ensures all menus are in perfect condition.
